Due to COVID -19 our base is temporary closed but we have adapted our way of working and are now delivering programmes remotely through zoom. We are currently delivering  Own My Life through zoom. We have morning, afternoon and evening sessions.

We are also delivering Freedom Programme  through zoom. You can join Freedom Programme at any week so you don’t have to wait until week 1 to start. We have a morning and an evening session.

Before starting a programme we will invite you to a one-to-one zoom call to go through the basics of zoom and ensure you feel comfortable and safe enough to attend a group session.

Freedom Programme – 11 week programme open to women 16+ who want to learn more about the reality of domestic abuse in relationships. Each session explores the abusive tactics, controlling behaviours and belief systems of the dominator and the effects on women’s health and well-being. This programme is run continuously so you can join in at any week as each session stands on its own. Online version coming soon

Own My Life is an innovative, creative and educational 12-week course for women.  It supports women in regaining ownership of their lives when they have subjected to abuse or violence by partner.  This is done through short videos, structured discussions, group and individual activities, and a comprehensive learning journal.  It uses multimedia content to explain complex concepts about trauma and abuse in easy to understand video clips, along with videos which evidence how popular culture reinforces or perpetuates sexism, rape culture, violence, misogyny, disrespect in relationships and abusive behaviour.  The Own My Story Journal provides women with space for reflective practice, and includes all the information provided throughout the course.  This becomes an ongoing resource for women after the course has finished.

Recovery Toolkit Programme- 12 week programme for those who are no longer at risk from the abuse, designed to assist you to build your confidence and self esteem and look at ways to develop positive lifestyle coping strategies.
This programme runs January – March,  April – July,  September – December
